QUEEN'S WARE: About 1760 Wedgwood improved the then recently new cream ware, and he presented to Queen Charlotte of England a decorated breakfast service of his new product. She was much pleased with the ware and ordered complete table services of it and Wedgwood, in her honor, gave it the name of "Queen's Ware. "
